Frequently Asked

Questions

During COVID, I closed my studio space.  If you prefer a studio look, we can rent a studio for an additional fee.

Do you have a studio?

I identify most with natural. My beginning in film has led me to a more film-like editing style with natural skin tones, subtle greens and lots of light.  That said, I am not all the way to light and airy.  I try to keep the look and feel timeless so that your images will stand for generations.

What photographic style do identify with?

Once your images are delivered, we will jump on a zoom call. I will walk you through your album selection. We can also discuss wall art at this time.  I will then set out to design the layout of your album to tell your love story in an artful way.
I deliver the album design within two weeks after our zoom call.  You get two revisions included in the album design process that has to be completed within two weeks of design delivery.  The album then goes into production.  Production time varies depending on the album selected, but generally takes four weeks.

What does the album process look like?

You will get a sneak peek delivery of a few images within a day or so of the session. I return your photos within three weeks, though I strive to beat that timeline and deliver early. I do all the editing myself due to my strict quality requirements. Once ready, you will receive a slideshow of your images. You can then request any edits or approve as is and I deliver your final images via a beautiful online gallery that I host for you for a year.

When do we get our photos back?

I am happy to include your dog family members in your session, or just them alone!

What about our pets?

If you are looking for just a few images of you child, a 1 hour session should be fine.  If you are looking portraits for a family a a 2 hour session is idea.  If you have a very large family and want multiple groupings, contact me and we can discuss a custom session for you.

How long a session should I consider?
